Abstract: 

In this paper, an alternative approach in operational modal analysis is presented, utilizing image processing technique and transmissibility functions. Imaging sensors do not impose additional mass on the structure due to their non-contact nature, while transmissibility functions, independent of excitation type, can directly extract mode shapes. The innovation of this research lies in combining these two techniques to record dynamic responses and identify modal properties. To capture the temporal response history from video signals, the block-matching method with sub-pixel accuracy was employed. Validation was conducted by recording the response of the tip of a cantilevered steel beam subjected to impact excitation, using a high-speed camera and a laser vibrometer, simultaneously. The RMSE plots in the time domain and the PSD in the frequency domain indicate high accuracy of this method. Using this approach, the displacement time histories of various points on the structure were extracted from the video signals, and the modal properties, including natural frequencies, damping ratios, and mode shapes, were identified using the transmissibility matrix method. The results obtained from the proposed method were compared with the stochastic subspace identification (SSI) method and analytical solutions. The findings reveal the accuracy of the modal identification approach introduced in this article. The highest relative error in estimating the natural frequencies of the first and second modes, compared to the values from the laser method, are 0.19% and 0.13%, respectively, and in comparison to the analytical values, they are 0.34% and 1.5%, respectively.

Abstract: 

In traditional speech processing, feature extraction and classification were conducted as separate steps. The advent of deep neural networks has enabled methods that simultaneously model the relationship between acoustic and phonetic characteristics of speech while classifying it directly from the raw waveform. The first convolutional layer in these networks acts as a filter bank. To enhance interpretability and reduce the number of parameters, researchers have explored the use of parametric filters, with the SincNet architecture being a notable advancement. In SincNet's initial convolutional layer, rectangular bandpass filters are learned instead of fully trainable filters. This approach allows for modeling with fewer parameters, thereby improving the network's convergence speed and accuracy. Analyzing the learned filter bank also provides valuable insights into the model's performance. The reduction in parameters, along with increased accuracy and interpretability, has led to the adoption of various parametric filters and deep architectures across diverse speech processing applications. This paper introduces different types of parametric filters and discusses their integration into various deep architectures. Additionally, it examines the specific applications in speech processing where these filters have proven effective.

Abstract: 

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Varicocele is one of the causes of male infertility. It changes with temperature and drainage of testicular veins that due to spermatogenesis disturbance and decrease of fertility in these patients. However varicocelectomy is a treatment for varicocele, but there are other methods of treating this disease including assisted reproductive technology (ART), Sperm processing and swim up. METHODS: This interventional study was performed on 155 cases in fertility and infertility Center of Babol University of medical sciences in 2004. Sperm parameters in varicocele patients was assessed before and after sperm processing. FINDINGS: The mean age of patients was 31.8 years. Sperm motility before sperm processing in grade III and IV was 53.9% and 12.9%, respectively but after sperm processing in grade III and IV changed to 78.7% and 56.8%, respectively. Total motility before sperm processing was 40 % and changed after processing to 80%. CONCLUSION: The results show that with sperm processing and collection of appropriate sperms, we are able to increase fertility.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, healthy food has become more popular, this research was aimed to develop fried snack from pumpkin (cucurbita moschata duch) which is also a healthy food for human. A vacuum frying machine in laboratory scale was used for snack production in order to optimize process parameters on vacuum frying of cucurbita moschata duch and study the relationship between process parameters (including frying temperature, vacuum level and time) and the quality of the product. A range of pretests were done to obtain suitable ranges for main parameters. Considering the results of these pretests, variables assumed as 70- 140 for temperature, 40-140 millibar for vacuum pressure and 3-18 mins for the processing time. In this research, for analyzing the results and studying the effect of these variables on the quality factors of the slices of pumpkin the response surface methodology and the central composite design were used. The results showed that moisture content, shrinkage and crispiness of pumpkin chips were significantly (p£0.05) affected by temperature and time of frying process. In this case, by increasing frying temperature and time of process, moisture content decreased while crispiness and shrinkage of the product increased. The Hunter DE of products was significantly affected by the temperature of the frying process and by increasing the temperature. Based on the results, the optimal frying condition for pumpkin was as follows, vacuum pressure of 40 millibar, Temperature of 84.53 and 18 minutes for processing time. According to the results, this condition could be applied to produce pumpkin chips with lower moisture and shrinkage with good color and crispy texture along with good nutritional value.

Abstract: 

Production of evaporated milk from fresh milk and skim milk was studied. The method of evaporated milk production is on the base of evaporation in the single effect evaporator. Products were stored three months at 4, 25 and 37°C. To study the quality of evaporated milk, organoleptic tests were performed. The obtained results were analyzed with randomized complete block design and split plot design. With increasing the temperature from 4°C and above and storage time changes in colour of the evaporated milk appeared. Increasing temperature caused changes in viscosity of evaporated milk. Keeping the product at temperatures above 37°C caused gel formation. Two stage homogenization caused prevention of gel formation in evaporated milk.

Abstract: 

The present research studied the (causal, contextual, and intervening) conditions, strategies, and consequences of violence in the lives of child wives in Chabahar city, conducted with a qualitative methodology based on grounded theory. For this purpose, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with 28 child-married girls in Chabahar city who were selected through theoretical sampling and snowball method. The analysis of the data in the framework of the three-level open, axial and selective coding system showed that gendered inequality and discrimination, women's inferiority, men's value, the culture of silence and the culture of violence play a role in the experience of child-wives in terms of violence (causal conditions), which leads to a type of increased, double violence for them (core category); violence that operates within the framework of the family institution, the main mechanism of which are previous traditions and rules, and the perpetrators of which are men and women who were themselves the victims of the same traditions and rules that they have, now, internalized and used again against their daughters. This increased violence happens in a context where patriarchy is widespread (contextual conditions) and due to the generalized self-deprecation among child wives (intervening conditions), they may attempt to escape, get separated, threaten, and commit suicide (strategies), and these actions have consequences such as symbolic, physical, and sexual violence and even social isolation (consequences).

Abstract: 

تهیه و نگهداری نقشه جغرافیایی جامع الکترونیکی برای یک شهر یکی از مهمترین ویژگیهای شهرهای الکترونیکی محسوب می شود. این نقشه می ‏بایستی توانایی ارایه خدمات چند لایه ‏ای و مشخص نمودن موقعیت دقیق جغرافیایی آن محل از زمین را داشته باشد. از سویی دیگر، سرویس های مبتنی بر GPS های معمولی خطاهای نامطلوبی را ارایه می‏ کنند. لذا می بایستی از سیستم های نوین دیگری استفاده نمود تا به نیازهای خدمات شهری بطور مناسب پاسخ داده ‏شوند. در این مقاله سعی بر آن شده است تا متداول‏ترین روشهای نوین که همان DGPS می ‏باشد را معرفی نماییم. و همین طور در کشورهایی که به سیستم کاداستر مجهز می باشند، شبکه GNSS که بر همین اساس طراحی و پیاده سازی شده است، مورد بررسی قرار گیرد. در پایان کاربردهای مفید این نوع سیستم ‏ها بر روی خدمات شهری مطرح می ‏گیرند.

Abstract: 

Physical and thermal properties of briquettes produced by recycling charcoal dust under different processing conditionshave been reported in this study. The main aim was to investigate the effects of the binder and processing conditions on theproperties of briquettes. The effect of adding molasses binder on combustion properties of the briquette was first assessed. Then by fitting experimental data, mathematical models to predict gross calorific value, ash content, moisture content, relaxed density and shatter index with respect to binder mass fraction, drying temperature and compaction pressure weredeveloped. All briquettes properties were predominantly affected by amount of molasses used. Molasses mass fractionincrement in briquette results in significant increment in ash content, moisture content, relaxed density and shatter indexand significant reduction in gross calorific value. Drying temperature did not have major influence on briquette propertiesexcept moisture content. Compaction pressure (50– 150 MPa) used in this study had negligible influences on all briquetteproperties. Therefore, such high pressure which involves energy consumption is not necessary during production of charcoaldust briquettes. Optimized values of gross calorific value and shatter index were 29. 031 MJ/kg and 80. 363%, respectively, for 50 MPa compaction pressure, 29. 512 ° C drying temperature and 10% molasses mass ratio.
